Anne makes her lessons fun and enjoyable for the children (and adults if also in the water) whilst also prioritising lifesaving skills to ensure the children are as safe as possible around water outside their lessons. She is very encouraging and brilliant with children who are nervous.

I started attending Anne’s classes after a recommendation from a friend. Living in Windsor, it’s a bit of a trek, but I decided to give it a try — and I’m so glad I did.

My son has learned how to navigate the pool safely using the specific words, intonations, and exercises that Anne teaches. The classes aren’t just about having fun (though there’s plenty of that!), but also about teaching babies how to behave safely in the water and what to do if something unexpected happens.

My has developed so quickly through these classes and absolutely loves them. He’s confident going underwater, and his comfort and confidence in the water are incredible to see. It’s even had a positive impact on our bath times at home.

I’ll happily continue making the journey because this class is truly worth it. Anne is an amazing teacher, and we couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

Anne has a rare gift for combining calm reassurance, clear structure, and genuine fun in every lesson. Over the years, she has helped build not only strong swimming skills, but also real confidence and a love of the water. She is endlessly patient, always encouraging, and completely tuned in to each child’s individual needs and pace. Trinity Trainer Pool is a fantastic unit, providing excellent swimming facilities to our KS1 pupils. St. Mary’s School have been associated with the pool for many years and find it’s facilities perfect for our needs

Trinity Trainer Pool is a fabulous resource to have! The children love the changing rooms and the wider pool area which is painted with sea creatures on the walls. The water is kept at a lovely temperature so that any reluctant swimmers soon change their mind. The size and depth of the pool is small enough so that it does not intimidate the children, but big enough for a proper swimming lesson.
