History

Trinity Trainer pool started in the early 1980’s when the Trinity School PTA decided that it would be a good idea to put a swimming pool in the old Trinity school.

The building in which the pool is situated is owned by Oxfordshire County Council and they have been extremely supportive in helping us keep this hugely important facility going.

Local people and businesses have been generous with their support both financially and with hands on help for which we are very grateful.

Over the years the pool has been run by a committee of volunteers who have worked tirelessly in order to provide a safe, clean and child appealing environment for the young children of Henley to learn to swim.

The present pool was installed in 2004 and there was a major refurbishment done around this time with an official re opening in July 2005 by the then Henley MP Boris Johnson.

The pool water is maintained by Aztec pool services Henley.

Bacteriological samples are taken monthly by Eaton Environmental services.

The pool is used by local schools and by local swimming teachers who provide swimming lessons for young children.

The pool is also available for private hire for family use.
